Services — Draft Content

Internal reference for refining the "We Work With" and "Our Services" sections.

Core Problem Definition

Climate and effective nature response is still constrained by fragmentation and misaligned incentives, despite financing, knowledge, data, and innovations existing locally and globally. In effect, strong solutions that can generate social, ecological, and economic value exist, but they remain disconnected or undervalued. This leaves financiers struggling to find investment opportunities while implementers struggle to access appropriate funding, even as climate-vulnerable communities face considerable environmental impacts. This is why Acclimate exists - to bridge a fragmented ecosystem, shift possibility into action, and to make effective climate and nature innovations obvious.

High-Level Theory of Change

Draft narrative logic connecting Acclimate's inputs to intended long-term outcomes. To be refined and visualised.

1

Problem

Climate and nature response is constrained by fragmentation and misaligned incentives. Strong solutions exist but remain disconnected or undervalued — leaving financiers without viable pipeline and implementers without appropriate capital, while climate-vulnerable communities bear the consequences.

2

Inputs

Acclimate embeds multi-disciplinary practitioners (ecology, geo-spatial science, blended finance, economics, impact measurement) directly inside financiers, implementers, and ecosystem players across Africa and South Asia.

3

Activities

Operator Pods build organizational execution capacity. Investment readiness closes the documentation and pipeline gap. Impact systems create unified measurement architectures. Adaptive labs shift institutional behaviors. Collective intelligence integration weaves sector knowledge into governance. Financial market shaping builds enabling conditions for capital to flow.

4

Outputs

Organizations with the systems, documentation, and capacity to attract and deploy capital. Investors with verified pipeline and sector intelligence to act with confidence. Shared evidence bases and governance structures that persist beyond individual engagements.

5

Outcomes

More capital flowing to high-impact climate and nature organizations. Stronger, more credible implementers able to demonstrate and scale results. Reduced fragmentation between scientific knowledge, operational practice, and financial decision-making.

6

Long-term Impact

Thriving ecosystems and resilient communities in climate-vulnerable regions — particularly across Africa and South Asia — supported by a well-functioning market for climate and nature finance that rewards impact and builds durable institutions.

Key Assumptions

  • Embedding practitioners is more effective than external advisory for durable organizational change
  • Capital is available but blocked by pipeline quality, documentation gaps, and trust deficits — not by absence of supply
  • Multi-disciplinary teams combining ecology, finance, and operations outperform siloed expertise
  • Africa and South Asia represent the highest-leverage geographies for climate and nature impact relative to capital deployed

Key Risks / Open Questions

  • ?Dependency on Acclimate personnel — how do we ensure durability when engagements end?
  • ?Long feedback loops between advisory inputs and measurable ecological/community outcomes
  • ?Market conditions (DFI priorities, policy shifts) may redirect capital away from nature-positive investments
  • ?How do we measure and attribute Acclimate's contribution to systemic change?

Action needed

Validate this logic chain with the core team. Develop a visual version (diagram / infographic) for use in investor decks and the website's "About" or "Services" section.

Products & Services

We weave and embed mission-aligned expertise across science, strategy, and operations into the organizations addressing climate and nature response. We generate the collective intelligence that financiers, ecosystem players, and implementers need to act with confidence and drive lasting impact for people and ecosystems.

Priority Sectors

Acclimate works where climate and nature is most consequential particularly across four priority sectors where the gap between available solutions and deployed capital is widest. These are the landscapes, communities, and capital flows where embedded expertise and collective intelligence create the greatest leverage for people and ecosystems.

300,000 Livelihoods on the Line: Cooling Solutions for Delhi's Street Vendors

Programme

Women Rising for Climate Resilience E-learning Programme

Context

Delhi's informal street vendors — an estimated 300,000 people — face an acute and growing threat from extreme heat. Research shows 80% report fewer customers during heatwaves. For vendors like Rajesh Kumar, who loads his wooden cart with fresh produce at 4am daily, temperatures climbing past 45°C (occurring 45× more frequently across South Asia) mean produce wilts within hours, customers turn away, and income collapses. Losing nearly $4 worth of produce represents half his daily purchasing capacity — gone before sunset.

Acclimate's Role

This case study was developed as part of Acclimate's collaboration with Wedu on the Women Rising for Climate Resilience E-learning Programme — translating on-the-ground climate vulnerability into structured learning content for practitioners and decision-makers.

What We Don't Do

We are selective by design. We don't take on:

  • Monitoring, evaluation, and learning work scoped solely for compliance or donor reporting requirements
  • Piecemeal or one-off activities disconnected from organizational strategy
  • Any work for fossil fuel companies or weapons contractors

If an engagement doesn't connect to needed interventions to drive implementation and growth, it is probably not the right fit.

LinkedIn Promotion Strategy

A phased playbook to drive traffic to the website and LinkedIn company page at launch and beyond.

Phase 1 — Website Launch Announcement

Founder Launch Post (Osman + Smriti — post separately, same week)

Personal posts from each founder announcing the website. Include the "why we built this" story, link to acclimate.world, and a direct invitation to follow the company page. Tag each other. Keep it personal — not a press release. Aim for 150–200 words.

Draft hook (Osman)

"After years of watching capital and solutions sit in parallel worlds — we built Acclimate to bridge them. Today we launched our website. Here's what we believe and why it matters..."

Draft hook (Smriti)

"Climate and nature response has a collective intelligence problem. Financiers, implementers, and communities are working in silos with the same urgency and misaligned incentives. That's what Acclimate was built to fix..."

Company Page Post — Acclimate LinkedIn

Official launch post from the Acclimate page. Short, punchy, visual. Include the hero image or logo graphic. Link to the website. Tag all team members so they can reshare immediately.

Team & Adviser Activation

Update LinkedIn Profiles (All core team)

  • Update "Current Position" to Acclimate with correct title
  • Add acclimate.world to the website field
  • Update the "About" section to reference Acclimate's mission
  • Add Acclimate as a featured link in profile
  • Follow and like the Acclimate company page

Tag Advisers in Launch Post

In the founder launch posts, tag key advisers by name. Ask them in advance to reshare or comment — a reshare from a high-follower adviser is worth more than most paid promotion. Specific actions:

  • Yoeal Haile — tag in Acclimate post, ask him to reshare with personal commentary on the venture-building angle
  • Dr Irene Amoke — tag in nature/conservation-focused post, ask for reshare to conservation audiences
  • Other named advisers — personal DM asking them to reshare the launch post

Invitation to Follow

Use LinkedIn's built-in "Invite connections to follow" feature on the company page. Each admin can invite up to 250 connections/month for free. Both Osman and Smriti should use this immediately at launch. Priority: 1st-degree connections in climate finance, conservation, DFIs, and impact investing.

Partnership Statements & Cross-Tagging

Manna Tech Ltd

Coordinate a joint post or mutual tagging. Manna Tech posts about their work with Acclimate; Acclimate reshares with commentary. Osman (Board Member) should write a personal post about the relationship — why the mission aligns, what the partnership enables.

Draft framing

"One of the reasons I joined the Manna Tech board is the same reason I co-founded Acclimate: I believe [mission angle]. Here's how our partnership is taking that from idea to implementation..."

Conserveability Pathways (Dr Irene Amoke)

Irene posts about Conserveability's strategic partnership with Acclimate, tagging the Acclimate company page. Acclimate reshares. Focus angle: what the partnership means for conservation organizations trying to become investment-ready.

Draft framing (Irene)

"Conserveability Pathways exists to turn conservation strategy into measurable, fundable impact. Partnering with @Acclimate means we can now offer clients a full pipeline — from ecological credibility to capital readiness. Here's what that looks like in practice..."

Other Partners to Cross-Tag

ClimatebaseAVPNCatalyst NowGood MarketWeduAtlasAILegado Initiative

For each: tag them in a relevant post, mention the relationship, and ask them to reshare. Even a comment from their page boosts reach significantly.

Testimonial Quotations in Posts

Format: Quote Post

Once testimonials are collected (from Manna Tech, AVPN, Wedu), create dedicated quote posts. Format: large pull-quote graphic (Canva), name and title of the person, tag them and their organization. Post from the Acclimate company page; ask the quoted person to reshare.

Action needed

Request short (2–3 sentence) quotes from: Manna Tech, AVPN, Wedu, Legado Initiative. Brief: "What does working with Acclimate mean for your organization / mission?"

Ongoing Content Cadence (Post-Launch)

Hashtags to Use Consistently

#ClimateFinance#NatureBasedSolutions#ImpactInvesting#ClimateAdvisory#Biodiversity#ConservationFinance#BlendedFinance#AfricaClimate#SouthAsia#Agroforestry#ClimateResilience#NetZero#NaturePositive#SDGs#Acclimate

Use 5–8 hashtags per post. Mix broad (#ClimateFinance) with niche (#ConservationFinance) for best reach.

Insights RSS Feed — Content Syndication

Parked idea: expose the Insights posts as an RSS feed so new content auto-syndicates to the LinkedIn company page and elsewhere.

What it is

A backend function that reads all BlogPost records (already populated from Substack via importSubstackPosts) and returns valid RSS 2.0 XML — one <item> per post with title, link (to Substack), publish date, excerpt, and feature image. Gives a stable feed URL shareable anywhere.

How it reaches LinkedIn

LinkedIn deprecated native RSS auto-publishing for Company Pages — you cannot point LinkedIn directly at a feed URL. Instead, pipe the RSS feed through a syndication tool that reads the feed and auto-shares new posts to the company page.

Recommended tools:

dlvr.itBufferHootsuiteZapierMake

Flow: Substack → BlogPost entity → RSS feed → dlvr.it / Zapier → LinkedIn company page.

Team page — not a fit

RSS is designed for periodically-updating content. A team roster rarely changes, so an RSS feed of members serves no purpose. For LinkedIn, share the /team page URL directly or feature individual members in posts.

Open decisions

  • Feed links out to Substack (current link field) or to the on-site /insights page?
  • Register the feed in sitemap.xml / robots.txt for feed-reader discovery?
  • Which syndication tool to standardise on (dlvr.it vs Zapier)?

Parked — next step

When ready to build: create the insightsFeed backend function returning RSS 2.0 XML, then wire it to a syndication service for LinkedIn auto-sharing. Confirm link target (Substack vs /insights) first.

Site Traffic Tracker — Google Analytics

Tracking framework for monitoring Acclimate's web performance. Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is already wired into the site and collecting data.

How We Work

Embedded. We place capacity inside organizations rather than advising from outside. The goal is always that the client continues running the work after the engagement ends.

We diagnose the brief. Before beginning any engagement, we diagnose the problem clearly to unpack the chokepoints.

Multi-disciplinary by design. Our team spans ecology, geo-spatial science, blended finance, environmental economics, and impact measurement. These services are woven into each engagement as the problem requires.

Africa and South Asia depth. Practitioner fluency in the political economy, regulatory context, and capital market realities of the regions where the most consequential climate and nature work is happening.
